A Tranquilliser Permit is issued by the Firearms Registry. It is a requirement that applicants for the permit complete an approved course in tranquilliser training.

The FSTC delivers a comprehensive training course conducted by professionally trained and accredited operators.

The accreditation is widely sought after by operators who deal with native, domestic and feral animals as well as veterinary professionals. It is an accreditation that provides further options in the management of difficult to manage animals in difficult circumstances.

This course is designed for both public and private sector tranquiliser firearm operators for the control of animals on private or public land.

It is a one-day course encompassing theoretical and practical elements required for the control of animals.

The course will cover all necessary firearm considerations but does not accredit the dispensation of drugs.

Registration for the Tranquiliser Firearms Accreditation Course is $699.60
